After creating all of my detailed sketch versions of the storyboards along with the other elements needed to create my initial draft such as background elements and a logo, I got to work on my rough draft. This process of editing and creating art to be used within the video took around 6 hours and 30 minutes, as I was working on it all day and took time in-between to rest my wrist and have a lunch break.

I am very proud with the result of my first finished draft as it gives a very good idea of what the final product will look like using this rough draft as my reference for sound and visuals. I plan to put together a focus group in order to gather feedback from my initial rough draft to see if they have questions, comments or concerns about the rough draft and gathering information on areas I could improve on whilst making the final product. I believe that there are quite a few areas that I could improve on my video in different places, but as I am my own worst critic, I wanted to gather feedback from a large audience. From whatever feedback I receive, I will make notes in a follow up post and be sure to make changes as appropriate.

My rough draft is in the very early stages, no backgrounds being sketched out as of yet and so I will dedicate a specific period of time to the backgrounds in order to fully achieve the final look I have in mind. I have decided on a clean, lineless art style that is very simple to make as it requires less time and detail work to achieve the overall shape. Below I have placed the full first rough draft of my project. I will have a focus group watch and give feedback from this video and make notes on what parts they liked or didn't like and how I could change these things in the future when going forward.
